You can register yourself for a tax number with the National Tax Authority and start a freelance business or a side hussle. If you don't want to incorporate a company just yet, this "EV" status can be your first step. To ensure a smooth launch, we can assist you with this registration process.

Business partnership
Betéti társaság
If there are at least two of you, and you would like to set up a company but lack the initial funds, you can incorporate a business partnership (betéti társaság).
Limited Liability Company
Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság
If you have at least 3 million forints, you can incorporate a Limited Liability Company. You can be the sole founder of the company or you can have multiple founders.
Company Limited by Shares
Részvénytársaság
If you have at least 5 million forints, or you're ready to go public with your shares, you can set up a Company Limited by Shares. You can be the sole founder of the company or you can have multiple founders.
Nonprofits
If your enterprise is not for profit, you can incorporate a non-profit civil society organisation as well.
Association (Egyesület)
If 10 volunteers band together for a good cause, they can set up an association to manage their activities.
Foundation (Alapítvány)
One or more founders can assign a fund of their choice to a good cause and appoint a board of trustees to manage the activities.
